Within the Department of Technical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, scientists are researching the mechanics of rigid and deformable bodies, the mechanics of fluids, thermodynamics, automation and control, mechatronics, geomechanics, geology and graph theory, as well as machine engineering, electrotechnical, construction, mining and information and communication technologies. The Centre for Systematic Studies also belongs to the Department of Technical Sciences. The Department has six full members and two corresponding members.
